Bob focuses his practice on corporate and individual matters in both state and federal courts, where he has handled numerous arbitrations, trials and appeals.

Bob’s trial work has ranged from defending some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in the world, to regional REIT’s in shareholder and fiduciary disputes. Along with representing Fortune 100 companies, Bob has also represented closely held companies and individuals in a wide array of litigation matters.

Given the breadth of his experience, Bob has been called upon to prosecute and defend his clients’ claims and interests. These have included contract and fiduciary disputes, UCC claims, fraud and misrepresentation cases and claims brought under federal aviation and railroad regulations. In addition to his commercial experience, Bob represents plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury litigation.

Bob has been certified by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy to teach trial techniques to practicing lawyers. He is regularly invited to teach attorneys at the NITA regional instruction program offered each spring in Chicago. In addition, he is a member of the faculty at Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he teaches advanced trial practice through the Philip H. Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy and is the head coach to the national mock trial team.
